RESTORATION
Restoration requires highly specialized skills, many of which are extremely rare today, and it is our objective to preserve the original condition of each timepiece from both a technical and aesthetic perspective. This commitment extends to the use of original parts and legacy techniques dating back to the epoch in which the timepiece was crafted. We maintain an extensive inventory of movement parts and case components from past eras. In cases where required parts are no longer available, our specialists will attempt to skillfully replicate them.
COMPLETE MAINTENANCE
At the start of the service process, a watchmaker carefully assesses the technical functionality of the movement and complications, as well as the aesthetic condition of the case and bracelet. Based on this thorough inspection, we determine the appropriate service needs and identify any replacement parts required to restore and guarantee the optimal function and appearance of your timepiece. After extracting the movement, we dismantle the case and clean all parts in an ultrasonic bath. Our Complete Maintenance Service also includes ultrasonic cleaning of the case and metal bracelet.
REFINISHING
The case and bracelet are refinished and polished with extreme care to respect the original design. A cleaning cycle is applied to cases and metal bracelets to ensure the removal of all residues, which is essential in preparation for refinishing and polishing to prevent particle-induced scratching. Refinishing may involve gentle retouching or several interventions requiring differentiated techniques. Traditional refinishing and polishing are performed manually using a “free-hand” technique, relying on extensive experience, virtuosity, and quick reflexes. Alternative techniques include satin finishing, lasering, lapping, and diamond polishing, the latter resulting in a mirror-like gloss.
TECHNICAL SERVICES
The disassembly and cleaning of the case, the checking of the movement and the replacement of damaged components is necessary to ensure the watch's water resistance. If your watch is equipped with a quartz movement, we will replace the battery as well. This service carries a warranty limited to the replaced components.

If you are a walkin customer at Watch Central, we will do our best to provide you with an estimate while you wait, however on occasion may need to call you at a later time with pricing regarding your repair. If you mail in your watch for an estimate we will provide you with an estimate for your watch repair via email. What is your average turnaround time?

Typically the average turnaround time at Watch Central is two weeks starting from time of estimate approval from our customers. with exception to complicated cases or overhauls which can take 4-6 weeks from the time of estimate approval as we must conduct the appropriate quality control checks. During some months of the year we do receive a higher volume and so this turnaround time can vary, however our staff of experienced watchmakers will provide you with a turnaround time that is as accurate as possible when providing you with your quote for watch repair services.
